SOURCE: 2006 Altima doesn't shift into reverse

The problem that I could see is the transmission/shift solenoid. The solenoid thing is located inside the transmission. The repair should run $200-$250 or there abouts. If you don't fix it quickly though, you will wreck the transmission and you don't want to know how much that costs!

You may also contact the manufacturer for second opinion.

Hope this helps and have a great evening!

SOURCE: 1997 De Ville Reverse lights do not work

On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced

I am guessing it is a 580 Super E. If so, go to the above link and search for 580 Super E. It will, although slowly, give you a click able link that will let you view specifications. There are a few options, so I will let you calculate the final weight.

Getting a warning buzzer and a red N on console when put in gear forward and reverse new 580 SM case backhoe its a newer one with 350 hours

If the tranny is the electronic controlled type, the buzzer and N lite means that there is an error or fault code in the control system. You may have to get the error code read and start your repair/service from there. Some car owners tried to reset the code by removing the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. However, if the fault recur, you need to get the code read.
