Could be a cylinder miss, or a weak motor mount among other things.

1997 mercury villager acting like its not vacuum advancing when I press on the gas pedal

I'm pretty sure your car does not use vacuum advance for the ignition timing. Timing is controlled by the PCM/ECM based on a lot of input from various sensors (engine temperature, air temperature, air flow, throttle position, engine load, RPM, etc.) You don't mention if the check engine light is on or if you've had codes read. What you need is to have the car diagnosed by a qualified technician with the electronic tools to help identify what's wrong.
Anything else is guesswork; could be fuel supply (fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors), could be back pressure in the exhaust system (catalytic converter plugged), could be EGR system, etc. Having the system diagnosed electronically will point to the problem without having to replace a bunch of parts that are not causing the problem.

start with a compression test to determine if there is a weak cylinder or imbalance . the stalling could be fuel related... check pressure and change the fuel filter. more info is needed...... lots of vacuum lines and emissions controls, are the all there? is there a vacuum leak somewhere like the intake, pcv, throttle body or plastic tee?

I have motor vibration. My mechanic at I have a leak around says the manifold. cant that be true.

Yes it can be the problem. If you are pulling a vacuum into the intake manifold, you will have an improper mixture of fuel to air. A lot of other things can cause an engine to "miss" which causes the engine to vibrate. A perfectly good running engine can vibrate if you have a broken motor mount for example. You could also have faulty spark plug wires, even a blown head gasket. You have to start somewhere. You need a mechanic you can trust, don't be shy, ask him what else can cause your engine to vibrate. Hopefully, he will have a scanner to see what your onboard computer is showing to be wrong. If you are near an autozone or advance auto parts store they will hook the scanner up to your car for free to read what your computer is showing to be wrong. If it shows a code for "engine lean" then that would support the idea that you have a vacuum leak. Hope that helps.

I have a bad miss in my engine. I put new ignition coils and new plugs and it still has a lot of vibration.

Have you looked into the possibility of an O2 sensor? or Vacuum Hose loose?

Also, is this a 6 Cylinder 3.0L or 8 cylinder 4.0L Jaguar S-type?
Are there any codes tripped in the computer that might give a clue?

Steering wheel vibrates while idleing

sounds like the engine just might need a little tune up. how bad is it idling? did you just buy this vehicle? how many miles are on the odometer? these particular engines DO vibrate a little bit when the transmission is placed in gear. if this is a manual trans you might need some maintenance. have you checked the condition of the spark plugs which are located under the black cover on top of the valve cover? the air horn does need to be removed in this case also.
