A po652 code on a 2008 cadillac cts.3.6 L. Car want to stall and will cut off when coming to a stop. Car will start back up and sometimes has a smelly oder coming out the exhaust.


Bad Oxygen sensor. Possibly _also_ bad catalytic converter. If less than (roughly) 70,000 miles, the converter is likely good. But your symptoms are 100% consistent with a bad oxygen sensor (which are sometimes attached directly to the catalytic converter). // Note: If you do need a catalytic converter, have it done at the Dealership. The ''muffler shops'' will install a generic (probably ''ceramic'') replacement, which could adversely affect performance, gas mileage, and _definitely_ not last more than a few years.

Any symptoms,Dawn, such as performance troubles? Might be an oxygen sensor going bad, catalytic converter starting to plug, or EGR valve getting dirty and sticking.
If you can,get the OBD II codes run. They should help pinpoint the problem.My guess is it's an oxygen sensor,but that's only a guess. don-ohio (:^)

DTC P0133 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank1, Sensor1)
This involves the front oxygen sensor on Bank 1. This code indicates the engine air fuel ratio is not being adjusted by the oxygen sensor signal or the ECM as expected to do so, or not adjusted as often as expected to do so once the engine is warmed or under normal engine use. You will likely not notice any drivability problems, although there may be symptoms.

A code P0133 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
The oxygen sensor is faulty
The wiring to the sensor is broken / frayed
There is an exhaust leak


DTC P0155 - 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
This code refers to the front oxygen sensor on Bank 2. The heated circuit in the oxygen sensor decreases time needed to enter closed loop. As the O2 heater reaches operating temperature, the oxygen sensor responds by switching according to oxygen content of the exhaust surrounding it. The ECM tracks how long it takes for the oxygen sensor to begin switching. It the ECM determines (based on coolant temp) that too much time elapsed before the oxygen sensor began operating properly, it will set P0155. See also: P0135 (Bank 1). You will likely notice poor fuel economy the illumination of the MIL.

A code P0155 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
O2 Heater element resistance is high
Internal short or open in the heater element
O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance

DTC P0306 - Cylinder #6 Misfire Detected

The engine light and VSC light are on (Vehicle Singapore 2004 Lexus RX 300. Diagnostics report Error code P0037


your o2 sensor is bad. vsc will go on for any small DTC displayed on the MIL (cel)

- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) When is the code detected? The P0037 is set when the ECM detects an excessively low voltage through the heated oxygen sensor heater circuit P0037 LEXUS Description Oxygen Sensors (O2S) or Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S) need to reach a minimum operating temperature of 750 degrees F to produce an accurate voltage signal. The faster the heated oxygen sensor reaches that temperature the faster the sensor will start sending an accurate signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).

In order to achieve the require temperature, a heater element is included inside the heated oxygen sensor. The ECM controls the heated oxygen sensor heater element based on signals from the engine coolant temperature and engine load. The ECMcontrols the heater element circuit by allowing current flow to ground.

The ECM monitors the voltage signal received through the heater element circuit and determines the state of the circuit by comparing the voltage detected with the factory specifications.

Replaced plugs, had a tune up, replaced air filter but still idles high in p&n drive is at around 1000 p&n runs close to 2000. it also runs bad... shakes and if in drive and stopped for to long...


The first thing I would have checked is the TPS, ( throttle position sensor ), this is usually the cause of a high idle.

As far as running bad and fake stalling or stalling, there are 2 very common things that can cause that.

1. MAF, ( mass air flow ), sensor. If this is faulty you will have issues like, bad idle, loss of power when accelerating, poor gas mileage, fake stalling and stalling, eventually your engine will not start.

2. Oxygen sensors. Faulty oxygen sensors can cause very similar symptoms as the MAF.

Here's a though.... are you the original owner? It is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty for emmision control components up to.... are you ready for this....100,000 miles!! No joke. Call your local dealer and have them fix it. If they give you grief, get the owner's handbook and call the service rep's number for Nissan of North America and see what they will do to get this resolved.

DTC P0134 - 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)

The powertrain control module (PCM) provides a baseline voltage of about 450 mV on the oxygen sensor signal circuit. When cold, the PCM detects the the internal resistance of the sensor is high. As the sensor warms up the resistance is lowered and it starts producing voltage based on the oxygen content in the exhaust. When the PCM determines that the time it took for the sensor to warm up is greater than one minute or that the voltage is inactive (not reading outside 391-491 mV it views the sensor as inactive or open and sets the P0134 code.

Potential Symptoms: One or more of the following may occur:
* Check engine light illumination
* Poorly running/engine missing
* Blowing black smoke
* Poor fuel economy
* Dying, stuttering

Causes: A code P0134 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* Bad O2 (oxygen) sensor
* Bad heater circuit in the O2 sensor
* Wiring or connector to the sensor frayed / broken
* Blown heater circuit fuse
* Holes in the exhaust system
* PCM failure

Possible Solutions: The most common fix is to replace the oxygen sensor. But that doesn't rule out the possibility of:
* Rusted exhaust pipe
* Inspect wiring & connector(s) for problems
* Excessive amperage blowing heater fuse (still requires replacement of sensor but also replacement of blown fuse)
* Replace PCM (only as last resort after all other possibilities are covered.

Hard start and engine hesitation at highway speed


The PO441 has to do with your HO2S 2 (Oxygen sensor). You need to check to make sure the wire is not off of the sensor and check the grounds to the Oxygen sensor. Could be a bad Oxygen Sensor. The other code has to do with your Evap system Purge solenoid circuit. Has to do with detecting an improper voltage level. Could be a shorted Purge solenoid.
