Hard starting problem is related to many possibilities, since the problem may be one out of them, but the troubleshooting is required to confirm the fault.
The
most common being that car is out of gas or very low gas.Get it checked. The other possibilities for this problem are;--It could be a fuel problem, low fuel pressure or dirty fuel
injectors. Or it could be electrical, a bad coil, bad cap and rotor or bad
ignition wires. There can also be a bad ignition module or pick up.Also it can be low battery voltage related issue. This all has to be checked to confirm the fault.------------------------Thanks.

you could boost the car and try to turn it over but you may be too low on gas to get it to the engine (side note gm likes to put the fuel pump in the gas take to keep it cool) running your car on less that 1/4 take its hard on the pump because it over heats and could be burned out
