SOURCE: Cruise control inop
Could be a bad vacum dump switch on the brake pedal. There is 2 switches on the brake pedal one for brakes lights and one for cruise The cruise switch must be pushed when the pedal is up. Or your servo under the hood is bad To identify the parts go to the parts store and look at them and you will know what to look for

First reaction to this one is;-
Engine Oil, Fuel ,Air and OIL Filter change, check and gap, or replace Spark plugs, then comeback later with the Results and continue on from there, with the other problems, No point in having CC and A/c, if the car is running junk on gas miles per gallon.

I'm having the same issue with mine. Just checked both fuses #5 and #12 under the dash, but both are fine. Can't find Relay #302 for the speed servo. 2003's aren't listed in the recall. Ugh!

there are 4 fuses that are used to power up different parts of the cruse system all are in the inside fuse box ( under the left side of the dash ) fuse #32 10amp, fuse #27 10amp, fuse #17 15amp, fuse #38 15amp, the main unit fuse is the #32.
hope this helps.
