Clanking or thumping front drivers side

Usual cause is a failing drive axle, but could be the tire, lower control arm ball joint or similar issue. You need to have the entire wheel and suspension on that side checked out.

I would also swap the front tires around. Usually when a wheel bearing fails, it makes a roaring sound instead of a vibration.

Check the droplinks for the anti roll bar... some are like ball joints, and they can seize, which causes the symptoms you are getting.

If the noise indeed does get louder when turning right, I would suspect the leftside hub.

Why drive side bearing could be a bad other.balance yes, tie rod could be bad.

if it's a 4x4 you need to replce the axle on drivers side

CV joints yes look at the rubber boots for damage. You can get a replacement boot but if you do remove all the old grease to remove any dirt that is cousing your problem.
