Question about Cars & Trucks
On a Chrysler Sebring and the wires inside are disconnected
Sorry to say, you can't fix that regulator. You're going to have to get a new one, or better yet, one from a salvage yard. The regulator is the motor, bracket & wire all together. They can't be separated.

There is a cover over the bulb that is removed by turning counter clockwise. (as viewed from the back of the housing)
Remove the spring clip that holds the bulb and pull out bulb.
Plug in new bulb (do not touch glass with hands) and install re-install spring clip and back cover.

you need to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and unplug the map sensor then there are two clips on the other end pull that out and you should be able to pull the filter out you don't need to take the box off.

All gas charged supports are not created equal. I recommend using O.E. for this application.
Snow, ice and trapped water make the lid heavier than it should be make sure these are not the issue.
