get you some wd 40 and spray those buttons on the housings, thats the area where your door fits when shut, but you have to have your doors open to spray those little buttens, spray it push the butten in untill all the dust is gone.

I believe that your vehicle has two large fuse/relay assemblies. One is under the hood and the other"may" be under the drivers side passenger seat. The owners manual will list all, and I mean many" fuses and relays. Check them all with a test light or if you think a relay is at fault just switch to alike relays and see if that fixes your problem.

my 97 burban has a dome override button next to light switch that does the same things you discribed look for it and push it if you have one its labeled

That is listed in the owners manual. If you don't have the manual you can download one here for free. I doubt the problem is a fuse.
