Iam getting a delay of a few seconds whenever i shift between neutral and drive or neutral and reverse on my 2007 nissan tiida cvt transmission.

Have the oil changed and the filter checked . I have a Mitsubishi lancer and it is in good nick but If I apply power before the shift happens it chirps the tyres . have the bands and clutch pack adjusted Run fault codes to check for faulty solenoids and servos.

Nissan Maxima transmission

Please follow the experts recommendation . In Automatic transmissions are not using thick oils. Only special and manufacturers recommended oils are used. If you will not change it you will come surely to an unexpected and not worthy situation. Proceed as you been told . Renew the oil and filter and I again inform you to use the specified oil from manufacturer and nothing else. Also it is better to put into your automatic gear box if you can find the " Wynn's Automatic Transmission Treatment. "It will help a lot.

My 2000 nissan quest is changing gear with difficulty, i have top the gear oil but problem persist

standard or auto-------with 10yrs it could be a # of things---like a clutch or linkage for the 1st------automatics are much more complex--a fluid and filter change cures alot but it may be electrical or a pressure issue----------get an honestmech to test drive

How often should i change the oil in my 2005 nissan maxima sl?

Typically you should change the oil and filter in your car every 10,000 klm, depending on the terrain you are driving in, example: gravel or dusty roads you should change your oil + filter, and clean out your air filter every 5,000klm.

Hi, I have Nissan sentra 2002 gxe. After how many miles should i give the car in service? Which kind of service should I ask for? Thanks

Every 10,000 miles partial service; change engine oil and filter, air and fuel filter's, spark plug's and check brakes fluid pipes and pad's. Every 50,000 full service. partial service plus change cambelt, check gear diff and power steering oils. Owners manual or any mechanic will let you know oil grades etc.
