Hello. my 2000 gmc 1500 truck is leaking steering fluid ,i'a constantly refilling the container ?.not sure what its called..what should i do ? i don't want to replace it , i just can't afford...

Why would you fill anything that leaks back out?

If you can't afford anything, why ask what to do?

Why not just tell us what you saw leaking, such as a
power steering hose etc.

You know something has to be bought & installed,
to get the steering system back in proper working order

I have a 2000 isuzu rodeo i bought at an auction in early May 2011. about a month ago the transmission started slipping and stopped running. I gotta say i didnt change the oil, get a tune up or check the...

Lets hope you don't live life the way you ignore your new found vehicle

Life is not about quessing, trusting, assuming, just the opposite

You didn't do anything wrong
You did nothing

What is will say is that ANY Transmission Slipping, requires a complete rebuild
Now that was a wrong item & a reason not to purchase that truck

You didn't know as I do having owned a trans reapir shop at on time
that a ten year out foriegn trans is used up,so don't buy it

Don't buy any vehicle over 3 or 4 years old or 30,000 miles

They are someone elses abused transportation

No one ever cares to educate themselves or service a motor
vehicle, never have, never will, until you no longer can get a car loan
and actually have to save your own money and pay cash.

That wasn't meant to apply to you, just the way it is
Since 1975 people do not place any value on anything, they
live in a sea of debt, thus abuse the car & you bought one

I have just purchased a 1997 Ford Fiesta Chicane, and I don't know how to lower the drivers seat? There are two handles on the front of the seat that adjust the position (forwards and backwards) But...

Hi Chris,Are you sure there are adjustments for height in your vehicle? The controls are usually visible and not hidden. If you don't have that facility, and need it, go visit a breakers yard and buy a couple of seats that are equipped with those adjustments and fit them to your vehicle.Regards Johngee10

Riding down the road at 30 m.p.h. my 91 y.j. wrangler 4 ltr. just quit. I replaced the coil ,it ran2 blks. and quit again. after replacing 2 coils we broke the little catch on the wire that holds it into...

Pretty likely you can get a connector for the coil from any scrapyard. As you really don't yet know what's wrong with the computer, no idea how you'd deal with it. I'd begin by making sure the grounds are good and just unplugging and plugging back in the harness connectors (often if one's a little corroded. just doing that will clean it up). You can also use tuner and contact cleaner available at radio shack or other electronics place.
While the connectors are removed if you can find a decent wiring diagram you should check continuity from the computer terminals to the coil to make sure a wire isn't partially shorted or broken. If you don't have any understanding of what I just said, please don't rate my answer. No decent shop would diagnose unless they actually did hands on testing. I can't do that either. What i mentioned is what I'd do first.
