Car stalls while driving...starts right up afterwords why ?

I could help if you could provide some more detail:
What does the car do just before it stalls?
Does it misfire before cutting out?
Does it simply die right away?
Does it do this when the gas is below a half a tank?

If my car misfires could it stall out on me and have to be towed away?

Well, it is possible. Though it depends on how bad the misfiring is. Real problem is a misfiring engine will eventually crap out all together, as mechanical problems do not get better by themselves. Once a problem develops it will get worse untill the cause of it is cured.

1999 Grand Am 3400 V6 misfire. replaced plugs, wires, injectors, coils Pull heads to check valves, good compression misfire at idle and goes away above 2000 rpm any help or ideas appreciated

check crankshaft and camshaft sensors. If faulty they may cause misfires, poor fuel mileage, stalls, hard starts. Make sure the ignition coil is ok, including its powers circuit. hopefully this helps!!

2003 subaru legacy 2.5L engine misfire at cruse after climbing a long grade all

Sounds likely to be the fuel filter which is located under the hood on the left hand side close to the brake master cylinder. It is of the cartridge type, so if it has not been serviced lately, throw it away and get a new one.

Bmw 325i 2003 stall

Sounds like you have a small bit of dirt or grit in the fuel system when accelerating it is drawn with enough force to cut off the fuel supply then is released when engine at Idle.
1 run liquid fuel line/injector cleaner in 1 tank
2 check fuel lines for debris
3 change fuel filters
4 have fuel tank flushed
here is trouble shooting order less expense to greater.

Waited for engine to cool and checked all vacuum hoses and sensors, according to vacuum diagram and found a couple of dry rotted hoses. I replaced them and troubles went away.
