By stutters I imagine you mean judders or jumps. The problem is in the length of the drive shaft and the intermediate shaft support bearings/rubbers lose or worn out. It comes from the tail shaft tending to wind up under load and as the vehicle moves the wind up is released only to be repeated. Check u-joints --- rubber supports and bearings on tail shaft.
