Could be anything from jammed starter motor to a wire off or a faulty relay ,best advice i can offer is to ask a local mechanic to have a look for you

My 2008 silverado won't start battery is charged

No, it isn't an ignition issue.

Check power to the starter motor solenoid.
If this is getting power when cranking, then the issue is with the starter motor solenoid or starter motor. Replace.

Starter motor car won't start

I am guessing that you already suspect the starter motor. If the battery is fully charged and the car won't crank over that could be the problem. You could try jumping across the starter solenoid first, if you can get to it and see if maybe it is just the solenoid. You could take the starter to a place like AutoZone and they can test it for you.

My lexus sucksa aot of current and won't start. What can I do?

so you mean it won`t crank over or it will crank over but not start up.if it won`t crank over and it sounds like the battery is going deaf while trying to start it then it could be the starter motor as long as the battery is in good condition, and no just because the lights and radio work does not mean the battery is any good.it takes little voltage to operate these.

Car will not turn over 1997 Grand Am

do you mean it won`t crank over then it could be the starter.check for voltage at the large wire terminal this is the battery feed wire directly from the battery.then check for voltage at the smaller terminal while someone tries to start the car.there should be voltage at this terminal only when trying to start.if both of these test are good then you will need a starter motor.the starter is located at the rad side of the motor were the motor bolts to the transmission,at the bottom side of the motor.if you mean it cranks over but won`t start then you need to check for spark at the plugs then check to make sure you have fuel with the proper pressure.a quick way is to spray carb cleaner into the intake while someone tries to start the car if it starts then you have a fuel problem, and you will need to test fuel pressure.
