Question about 1999 GMC Yukon
All the pwr-dr-lock buttons, when pushed will power lock all doors. But, push any of those buttons to unlock...will not power unlock any doors. The key fob will pwr lock & pwr unlock all doors. So, it seems the system works at each door(remote) but not any interior button as far as pwr unlocking goes. Is this a tough fix?

make sure than you have not split any fluids on the passenger front door most of the times is where the module to control the windows and doors is located, try by unpluging the batterie and the after a minute plug it back and see what happend but if any of your ft doors have been split with liquid or rain has gone inside then most likelly the module got moisture and not working

Check battery voltage. if above 13.7 volts move to rear lock actuator and measure battery voltage at actuator if above 13.6
replace actuator if below specs. check grounds and alternator out put as follows, alternator output 13.7 to 14.25 volts. key off battery volts should be 12.90 + - 3/10 of a volt and about the same voltage at the actuator. let me know. kindest regards Bill

i would say the theft module saw the door trying to be open without the door lock or fob first, once the door lock button was pushed it shut down, it new doors were trying to be unlocked in a theft manner, once shut down it needs time to reset or needs to see ignition cycle with key and read chip in key, smart system isnt it, good luck.

Testimonial: "I thought it was something like that, so I guess using the car door wedge set this into motion and the guy with the keys inside the vehicle is screwed"
Take The Driverside Control panel Off The Door,And Check Conection On The Main Switches,These Vehicles Have Locks On Them, And If They get loose The Stop Working,Also Check The Little Switch Towards The Front of Panel,It Also May Be Loose,Use Caution,The Clips Are Fragile..

I have the exact problem described. I can't find any brass contacts on the door frame of any door. What door are you referring to? The liftgate is closed and locked, so I can't get to that door frame.
