Your problem can be as simple as a disconnected abs connection and or you have a hub giong bad and have to replace it-- if your able to get to an auto store that can scan for code [most auto stores offer this service for free ] the code can advise as to what o which component is causing problems--check fuses and look at the abs wiring and connections for damage or debris.---check back of hub usally will see grease around hub when bearing goes bad-- if your not having binding and or loose wheel on bearing/hub you should be able to get home-if abs light comes on as well loss of abs reverts your brakes back to a regular type of brake -you pounce on brake you can cause skid/ wheel lock up -but your brakes are still normal as to traction control hit the gas hard will do a burn out- also a problem with the throttle body or throttle body sensor can cause this and can cause a reduce power problem that is why if you can get the truck scanned it will give u an area to work with so you can correct your problem

SOURCE: problem with 2007 yukon

The 3rd row is fairly simple, just pull the lever and make the back lay down on the **** part and the grab the handle that sticks out of the **** part facing you (you do have to take them out of the hatch area) and pull hard as they are heavy 50+lbs, the second row you do just the same except they come through the door on which the side they are on. Good Luck!

GMC Yukon XL the "Service Stability" light is on and I was out for the evening and could not get it to go past 30 without a drain on the system. I was about a mile away from home so I sat for 15 min a

The service stability light will come on if there is a problem detected in the stability control system. There will be a code stored for this problem. The code will tell the technician working on it where the problem is. You need to get in to have this looked at soon. Waiting too long can cause additional damage to components on the system, depending on what is wrong. The traction control and the stability control system are disabled with this light on so there may be some poor handling/performance noticed with this light on. BotXXXXX XXXXXne, the code needs to be read and then a solution to the problem will be known. The best advice that I can give you.
hope it helps

My 2007 Yukon Denali has 86000mi on it. I shut it off and turned it back on 10mins later to see Service Traction Control, and Service Stabiltrak scrolling across the info screen. The truck runs poorly...

Ok just so you know that service traction control and stabiltrak well come on if there is any check engine light on and if it's running poorly then i have to guess that there is also a check engine light on!! Once there any repairs are done then you would have to clear out the codes in the ECM, traction and suspension in that order!! GOOD LUCK !

There will be an error code, you need that to proceed. Fortunately, it is usually some sensor and it's wiring that became corroded... You do need it to work, so keep after it.

Stop every hour or so and check your coolant. Also check your oil frequently and make sure it's not milky. I personally wouldn't want to get that far away from home in it until I know it is not going to leave me stranded.

We were having this problem...have your wheel bearing checked out. There was a sensor in the drivers side wheel bearing...once we replaced it (because it was going out) the ABS and Traction Control warning lights stopped coming on.
