If the gas gauge does not move, you would unplug the harness at the tank and check to see if the gauge still works. If it does, the problem would be the float in the tank, and the tank would need to be dropped to gain access.

2000 buick lesabre engine code p1404

P1404 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Closed Position Performance The egr valve is stuck possibly due to carbon buildup. It may be possible to remove the egr valve and clean it with throttle body cleaner or induction cleaner. If the pintle can not be unstuck then the valve egr will probably need replaced.

700r4 trans stuck in 1st gear

If your transmission doesn’t shift out of first gear or shifts hard at too high a R.P.M. this doesn’t always mean you have a problem. This could be a stuck throttle valve caused by a small piece of trash. This sometimes happens after a rebuild. Sometimes the throttle valve can be unstuck without removing the valve body. Get up to about 20 to 30 M.P.H. and hit the gas pedal on and off hard with your foot. This might do the job. If that doesn’t work remove the throttle valve cable end from the throttle, with the motor at idle in park, pull the cable in and out very fast, this might work, if not the valve body must be removed by a transmission shop to be unstuck.

Also check the governor for a stuck valve, weights or governor drive gear damage.

The seat belt on the driver's side of my '98 Chevy Cavalier is stuck in the door position and won't pull out (it is a manual seat belt). How do I get it unstuck?

Usually when they get stuck you can`t get them unstuck unless they are just twisted.seat belts are not repairable.Your best bet is to go to the salvage yard and get a used one and replace it.
