Outdoor lights with motion sensor not working

I have two lamps with motion sensors, but when I connect them i don't see the results after cleaning the small switches. The older one works fine indoors but when I put it up stays lit all night, the photoresistor is working and the motion sensor cover is missing. The second lamp has a big problem i get no power on both light bulbs. I turn the switch to the on position as usually do I check for voltage with my multi-meter but i don't know what electronic parts may need.

SOURCE: Need fuse schematic

if the fuse was blown the stop lights on both sides would be inop, also if the stop light circuit were dead u would be unable to get the trans out of park, use a 12 volt test light and test the brake light switch at the top of the brake pedal, u can buy a test light from Autozone, kragen and others for about $5 US. If the system has power cjheck the bulb socket it may be defective, use the 12 volt test light while someone pushes the brake pedal. let me know what u find and i will give u further assistance as ness.

Stopping at red light the car starts to stutter as I accelerate

Your confusing MAP with a MAF sensor . You can not clean a MAP sensor .
manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP sensor )
mass air flow sensor MAF you can clean .

admissions = emissions !
accelerate again and it starts to stutter. Try the TPS - throttle position sensor .

Srs light on dashboard

There are a number of reasons the SRS light will come on for. Most commonly they are Impact Sensors, Clockspring, and Airbag Module. I don't know what sensors you replaced or what code is showing up, but you may have another bad sensor. This does happen. More likely than that is a bad connection at these sensors. Take them apart and clean all terminals. Make sure they are making good clean contact. Also check for a broken or nicked wire in the area.

Diagram for wiring for break lights on rav4 1996

The AutoZone website may have a wiring diagram in the sites self help repair section.

If you have a voltmeter check for voltage and ground continuity at the bulbs. Check for voltage before and after the brake switch (operate the switch). If you don't have a voltmeter connect something up with a 12V bulb.

If you have voltage after the switch (when operated) but none at the bulb might check the brake/tail light sensor. This is the actual sensor box located in the trunk, drivers side. The sensor can fail resulting no brake lights.

There have been various posts at this forum on the sensor, suggest you do a site search to find these and review them.

But first start checking for voltage.

Bmw 523i 1999 model asc light on and stays on when driving ABS working normally

The fact that the ABS is OK means that the wheel speed sensors are OK. The sensors are the part of the system that get the most abuse, so it is good to eliminate them as suspects.
On a 1999, I think that you have a mechanical (cable-driven) throttle rather than drive-by-wire throttle. If so, the ASC has its own throttle just outboard of the regular throttle. If you don't see it, follow the air tube up from the air filter to the intake manifold. The throttle(s) are attached to the center of the intake manifold at the end of that air tube..
If your ASC has its own throttle, that means that you have an actuator and a little throttle cable running from the actuator to the ASC throttle. Since that is a moving part, it is subject to wear, dirt, and corrosion that interfere with motion. That makes this system the second suspect after wheel sensors. Check that cable for fraying and a full range of motion as it pulls the lever on its throttle. Unplug the control wire to the actuator and make sure that the connections are clean and tight.
I recently had an ASC light that turned out to be a hose clamp that was installed improperly and was interfering with the motion of the throttle arm on the ASC throttle.

If you can kick the panel and it work, then there is a loose connection somewhere. Start at the fuse block and make sure you have a good connection there, then move forward.

This is a code 46 LH Crash Sensor - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly. Often there is a poor contact on one of the wiring connectors. Some of the problems can happen from a poor connection where everything connects under the drivers side seat.
Here is a list of codes for the airbag light issues.

Air Bag Fault Code Table

AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC MONITOR FAULT CODE PRIORITY TABLE

Priority Code Component/Fault Description

Highest -- No Air Bag Lamp - Inoperative Lamp Circuit or No Ignition Voltage to Diagnostic Monitor

Our 2005 dash lights come on and off intermitently, usually stay on during the day, this included instrument panel, radio, heater and seat heater lights in the door. The speedometer is also shot.

Hi, the interior lamps work in conjunction with the daytime running lamps. Depending on available outdoor light, these lights may change, as the sensor sees fit. This is a normal condition. As far as the speedo, there is a very good chance the guage is bad, resulting in a new cluster. This is something the dealer can easily diagnose, and dealer must replace the cluster, as it has to be programmed. Good luck...Coop

2001 Sonata Air bag light has been on for months. Does that mean the bag won't inflate and where might the problem be?

Could be several causes... but the result is consistent - when the light is on the air bag is disabled

The motion sensor board has a failure - or one of the crash sensors has failed - so the motions sensor board is not receiving the desired signal. To prevent an accidential firing of the bag, the system disables the airbag and turns on the light....
