Question about Aston Martin DB9
The key fobs won't work. The battery might simply be dead but I don't know if that's the case because neither fob is working and it seems strange that both batteries would die simultaneously. I also don't know how to open the key fob and don't wanna risk breaking it while trying to open it.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

No. VW has made it nearly impossible to solve any key-related problems without a costly visit to the dealership. Battery must be replaced, and I assure you. the dealership will advise you that the ONLY place that you can find that particular battery is from the dealership. They like it that way.

Bring it to a "Batteries Plus" type store; they can repair the fob if it is ony a broken battery clip. They did it for me for free! IF it is not the fob, then bring it to a dealer??
