SOURCE: how much oil do i put in a renault master 2.5 non

I'm doing this for fun and because I enjoy helping people!
For a renault master 2.5 non turbo PF1 gearbox a special type of tool is used
Gearbox oil level dipstick, which you probably do not have unless you're a dealer, so for the sake of not making things complicated.

PF1 or PF6 Capacity (litres) 2.7
PK5 or PK6 Capacity (litres) 2.4 ± 0.15
If you need any more help i will be glad to help you, enjoy.

Can I take a gearbox out of a Renault scenic leaving the engine in

Yes , by attaching an engine stand accross the both fenders allowing to suspend the engine and allowing the gearbox to tilt ,giving you access to opening the mountings and bolts securing the gearbox to the engine.

Renault Master Tiptronic Gearbox

There is no bad history with these.
If I read your post correctly you shelled out £5k for a gearbox?
A clutch should be replaced with the 'new' gearbox and should have been installed at the time.
Take them to task on that one.
A clutch when replaced has a lifetime of the vehicle warranty, if fitted by a specialist garage.

Kangoo, gearbox warning light comes on,will not change gear,if i stop and turn ignition off then back on again it is o.k.??....colin.

It's a faulty gearbox interlock switch. Very very common on Kangoos and related Renault models like the Clio.

Contact a Renault dealer; in some territories they were replacing them for free. Otherwise you'll have to replace the switch with a new one and it's really difficult to get at without dropping the engine and gearbox. If it was easy, it wouldn't be a proper Renault!

I have no first gear on my renault master 2.5

Repairing the transmission gearbox in any cars or truck is one of the most difficult job. It needs
somebody with the expertise of a mechanic. We
cannot discuss this since the gearbox needs to be
opened. Your problem could be cause by a
synchronizing gear, defective bearing or bushing,
etc... A lot of things can happen in a gearbox. So, I
suggest that you take your car to the service center
and have this fixed. Besides, they give you a service
