check the fuse in the panel on passenger side, it's fine. just wanted to make sure there wasn't a relay or something under the hood too. I am having problems with the truck just dying, just put in a new fuel pump and filter. now it just randomly dies. have checked the wiring for any shorts, rubs exposed or damaged hoses or wire, don't seam to find any. It does seam like a fuel system problem tho.

You have a fuel switch generally located under dash, passenger side. Try to look some diagram in the Owners Manual.

This device stops the electric fuel pump from sending fuel to the engine when your vehicle has had a substantial jolt. After an accident, if the engine cranks but does not start, this switch may have been activated. The fuel pump shut-off switch is located in the left rear quarter trim panel, near the liftgate. The switch is located behind an access panel...

i have checked that also. my truck was towed yesterday, and without doing anything to the reset, when the driver got my truck dropped to my house, I tried starting my truck and it started right up. which is why i was checking for damaged wiring. but i'm concerned with the reset due to it looks as if it has been tampered, there is no red button, or cap on the top like there was before. and i am not sure if this could be an issue of it just randomly resetting.

2004 pt cruiser keeps blowing fuel pump fuse, replaced fuel pump, no change.runs rough at idle and stalls, blows fp fuse, also replaced ign.coil, plug wires and plugs also changed relays

There are two fuses for the fuel pump relay. One fuse is load side of relay, that fuse also sends voltage to load side of asd relay, the asd relay sends voltage to several systems, two of which are the fuel injectors and ignition coil. I'm not telling you to replace, anything, but, you need to do some testing.
The other fuse goes to control side of relay, smaller amp fuse. I don't know the amp rating of the fuse that keeps blowing.
See that fuse, it supplies voltage to load side of fuel pump relay and also to asd relay.

05 Chevy cobalt have no power to fuse block for fuel pump

You have no voltage at 15 amp fuel pump fuse in the under hood fuse/relay center ? There is a fuel pump relay also in same under hood fuse box. The fuel pump fuse gets power from the fuel pump relay. The ( PCM ) engine computer controls that relay, gives power or ground electronically to turn the relay on giving power to the fuel pump through the fuel pump fuse. You could have a bad relay or an anti-theft system problem . What engine does you vehicle have 2.0 L or 2.2 L the 2.0 L engine gets power differently to fuel pump .

Where is the fuel pump fuse

Probably a relay, not a fuse. If there is a fuse it will be marked on the fuse box panel. Usually the relay is located under the hood either in a fuse/relay box or on a rack of several relay on the firewall.

No voltage to the fuel pump. Vehicle stalled and would not start, no fuel pressure and could not here the pump when I turned the key on. Removed pump, checked and the pump is OK. Checked and had no...

Here is a picture of where the relay is. this is at the right fender area. Also, the fuse pump relay gets its main power from an orange fuse link, which is located at the starter relay....there is no "fuse" for the fuel pump...just fuse links. I would check the condition of all the fuse links at the starter relay. Replace any burned links with fusible link wire ONLY . You will also need to find out what caused the link to burn if this is the problem. Please also review this article: Where's The Fuse?

Where is located the fuel pump relay for a rav4 2007?

The relay is the ECM relay and it's in the fuse relay center under the hood near the battery. there is an EFI fuse alson and then theirs two more fuses after the relay ones fuel pump the other ECM. If the check engine light doesn't come on with the key the relay or the ECM fuse is blown if only the fuel pump does'nt work then the fuel pump fuse is blown or the fuel pump is bad.

1995 toyota camery is there a fuse or relay for the fuel pump

The fuel pump doesn't have a single designated fuse, it gets electrical input voltage from several sources, the fuses tart you need to check are the 7.5A ignition fuse, the 15A EFI, the 15A starter. There are two relays that are involved, the circuit opening relay located behind the glove box and the EFI main relay located in the fuse box under the hood, the most common problem when there is no fuel pressure is the fuel pump, check all the fuses and substitute the two relays to see if it solves the problem.
