2004 Chevy Venture 3.4 v6 got a P0480 error code. What are the probable solutions to resolve this problem? Thanks!

If your vehicle's check engine light comes on and after pulling the code you find a P0480 displayed, it (P0480) refers to the engine cooling fan circuit. It is a generic code applying to all OBD II (on board diagnostics) vehicles regardless of make or model.
While you are driving, air in sufficient quantity is passing through the radiator effectively cooling the engine. When you bring the car to a stop no air is passing through the radiator and the engine begins to increase in temperature.
The PCM (powertrain control module) senses the increase in engine temperature through the CTS (coolant temperature sensor) located near the thermostat. When the temperature reaches about 223-degrees F (value depends on make/model/engine), the PCM will command the cooling fan relay to turn on the fan. It does so by supplying the ground to the relay.
There is a problem within this circuit causing the fan to fail to operate allowing the engine to overheat while sitting still or driving at a slow speed. When the PCM attempts to activate the fan and senses the command and the result do not match, the code is set.

Have a Ford fusion 06 Have p0141 code I fix the oxygen sensor but the codes still comes on?

Did you replace the right one ? This code does not necessarily mean the O2 sensor is bad . The code description say O2 heater " CIRCUIT " bank 1 sensor 2 Did you check the wiring , the fuse ?
P0141 - O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2) Description: See the description for DTC P0135. Possible Causes: See the possible causes for DTC P0135. Diagnostic Aids: See the diagnostic aids for DTC P0135. Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory All GO to Pinpoint Test DW . P0135 - O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 1) Description: During testing the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) heaters are checked for open and short circuits and excessive current draw. The test fails when the current draw exceeds a calibrated limit or an open or short circuit is detected. Possible Causes:
  • Vacuum hose disconnected on exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system module (ESM) applications
  • Short to VPWR in the harness or HO2S
  • Water in the harness connector
  • Open VPWR circuit
  • Open GND circuit
  • Low battery voltage
  • Corrosion or incorrect harness connections
  • Damaged HO2S heater
Diagnostic Aids: Check the HO2S electrical connector for damage, corrosion, and water intrusion.

Hummer he 2004 p0141

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0141 is defined by SAE J2012 as "O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2"

Most of the time, this is caused by the heating element in the O2 Sensor being burned out. However, there is a chance that there is a circuit malfunction elsewhere besides in the O2 Sensor itself.

Check engine light came on computer code says p0480 what does that mean ?

P0480 is for the electrical circuit of the cooling fan relay. The cooling fan relay is about the size of a deck of cards only a little taller. It's mounted to the metal bumper support under the bumper cover on the left side, near the headlight. It has aluminum cooling "towers" on top to dissipate heat. The most likely cause for this code to set would be a failed relay. It can also be caused by a short or open circuit on the control wiring running to it, and be sure to check all fuses in the box under the hood.

I've got a 1996 Suburban 5.7 engine that came up with a code P0141. What's the problem. Please advise. Frank S

P0141 is HO2S-12 (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction.

What this means is the oxygen sensor AFTER the catalyitic convertor is malfunctioning. This is a "heated" sensor and that portion is bad. You have to replace the sensor as the heating element is part of the complete sensor.

I have four codes. P0136, P0141, P0171, P0401.

p0136 and p0141 are o2 sensors and p0401 is a egr flow and the p0171 means its running lean on low bank 1
