SOURCE: what oil does 2005 kia amanti use

Depends on where you live in the country.  In TN where I live most people just use 10W30 all year, but if you live in a colder area you would use 10W30 in the summer and 5W30 in the winter.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating.

SOURCE: 2008 Kia Sedona Van - oil filter leaks like the exxon valdez

I never heard such a thing ,first of all get under your vehicle and see if you can tell where the leak is coming from,A oil filter has a rubber gasket when applied with a thin coat of motor oil will seal itself ,you must tighten the filter on the spindle until it is snug fit(not over tighten) make sure your using manufacture suggested size and fit for your year vehicle. You may also want to check the oil drain plug it may have stripped threads and it could easily be your problem or the gasket around your oil pan could be bad. last but not least check for double gasketing it is when the o ring gasket of the old oil filter is still sealed on the oil housing area this would easily cause leakage.I hope i covered all your possibilities and please give me a 4 thumbs up if i was a help for you

SOURCE: kia sedona automatic transmission gearbox

To fill the transmission fluid, you need a funnel that fits into the dipstick tube, add fluid there. If the fluid is black and smells burnt, that's bad. I would have the fluid changed. These transmissions don't have a filter, probally a bad idea.

Instrructions on replacing a rear main seal on 2004 kia rio

Oil leaking "in" your valve cover? Where is the oil at/coming from? And, to answar your question, rear main seal is a real job! Requires removing transmission, flex plate/fly wheel! It is the crank shaft seal, on the "rear" of the engine!

2012 kia sedona white smoke comes out of exhast when first started

White smoke is usually an indication of burning antifreeze and burning oil would have a more bluish tint to it and smell like burning oil. If it's a 2012, isn't it still covered by the KIA warranty though??

When I removed #4 sparkplug there is oil on sparkplug hole on a 2000 Kia sportage

If oil is on the spark plug tip then it could be from worn valve stems or from worn piston rings. When you accelerate away from the traffic lights and the engine blows a lot of greyish smoke then this is a sign of worn parts.
If the oil is leaking into the spark plug hole, then it could be leaking from the tappet cover, either the tappet cover bolts are loose or the tappet cover gasket is faulty.

Oil leaking bad 1997 kia sportage seems to be leaking in the back of engine

Your problem will be on the oil seal, mechanical seal and gasket. This oil seal are located near the pulley of the engine or in the transmission . This seal need to replace when your car getting old. In gasket the best way is to replace the this with new the oil pan and the valve cover or did you check your oil filter maybe the it needed to tighten or need to replace. This is a heavy work it need service personnel to do this job because they going to open the engine. Your can still use your car as long as you monitor the oil level.
