code p0500 refers to vehicle speed sensor (VSS)---circuit malfunction==== causes wiring---VSS--ecm

Code 500 is for a problem with the speed sensor or the circuit. But it could also be something mechanical inside the transmission. The signal the engine computer is getting from the sensor is out of normal range for the condition.
p0040 is Oxygen sensor signals swapped Bank 1 sensor 1/Bank 2 sensor 1. p0045 is Turbo/ Supercharger Boost control solenoid circuit open. p0500 is vehicle speed sensor A.

If not the PO500 possibly means the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) may be bad or the wiring is frayed or loose. I would reset the code and see if it comes back while at the same time inspecting all the wiring.

the PO 325 code is for VSS vichicle speed sensor and PO500 is for a knock sensor,so you will need to see what the new code is to be able to help you, the engine power manegment is controled by both get it scanned by autozone or the mechanic that did the work and see if it's the same code, if it is you may have a short or an ecm going bad. let us know what codes you find.
