Ok will tomorrow...the problem didn't start until my son jumped a car off tha wouldn't start. Would that cause it to start stalling out?

When my car warms up it dies

Hi Andrew, there can be a number of factors associated with this problem but the first one can be your fuel pump failure. When the pump is still cold it will function perfectly but when it warms up,it will loose pumping pressure leading to your car to die out.

i suggest you check your fuel pump pressure before looking any futhure.

I hope this will be of some assistance to you

96 Dodge Runs fine but after warms up it dies, cools n will crank n run good then dies again after warming up.

Hey Dennis,, DON"T BECOME A PARTS REPLACER..(some people who "call themselves mechanic's" are just that!),.. .take this Dodge to a qualified professional... talk to them..
You say warm... do you mean full running temp?? .if so, you may be experiencing a vapor lock,, fuel "boils" when the engine is hot.. when it cools its no longer hot enough to cause this..(S.W.A.G.)

Changed the oil and plug wires now when it gets warm it starts to sputter and wants to die. it eventually dies. it starts back up but continually dies til the destination.

Change your fuel filter. If that doesn't help, have your fuel pressure checked. Sounds like a fuel problem, but may be elsewhere. I would start with the fuel filter.

When the vehicle starts running it runs til the motor gets warm then starts to cut out then die , let it sit for a a couple of hours to cool down and it will star up and run til it gets warm again then...

Hi,
Normally, the hot no-start is caused by a faulty camshaft sensor or crankshaft sensor, usually the crankshaft sensor. Another possible cause for the cut out and die when hot can be a plugged catalytic converter or restricted exhaust. If your 11 year old car still has the original converter, I would suspect it (and some times the muffler) could be restricted due to the catalist inside the converter melting down from age and causing restriction. Sometimes particles will travel to the muffler restricting it also. A restricted exhaust will cause back pressure to the engine because exhaust gasses cannot escape at a rate suitable for the engine to run efficiently. Basically, it chokes your engine. Your exhaust can be checked with emmissions equiptment, but if you go under the car and see rust, dents in converter, or can shake it and hear anything rattling inside it, it is most likely faulty. A new exhaust sytem will make a world of difference on how your car runs, including less rough idle, more power and cleaner oil, less plug fouling and emissions sensor(s) fouling.
Check the exhaust out first and see if you have any computer trouble codes stored. Sometimes a downstream O2 sensor code can indicate a bad converter...........Mike

Runs fine til the temp out gets hot enough then dies. Wait ten mins and it will start again and run for a few mins then dies again

you didn't say if it was hot on the temp gauge? no matter, it sounds like you have a stuck t-stat. when the engine is cold, a mechanical valve keeps the water from coming out of the engine block until warmed up, then opens and lts the cooler water in. this cools down the engine and the colder temp of the water shuts the valve again. this happens constantly while the engine runs, and if your t-stat is stuck, the engine heats up the water in the block, but with nowhere to go, simply overheats the motor. a good repair book will locate the thermostat housing for you and should you the repair procedure. (i assume you have checked the water in the rad. low water will give you same symptoms). good luck.

Replace the acceleration pump. It's a small diaphragm on the carburator, near the fuel line. Usually less than $10.
