Question about Cars & Trucks
LED lights in display on ac/heater control stay on when ignition switch is off. Control works properly when it works or sometimes does not work at all and then LED lights go out. I have found that if I remove the 25 amp htr/ac fuse and re-insert the same fuse (which is good) it seems to reset and work.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 chevy
Try this solution. I have had the same issue three times. A Chevy tech told me that if it keeps doing it, to replace the blower motor, as it seems to be a chronic problem with the blower having to much resistance and thus burning out the resistors. I suspect that you probably had lost one speed first and then more. It has happened both ways with me, once the entire thing went out at once and then the other times it goes one speed at a time.

you need a resister found under your air duct by the passenger floor under dash board auto zone sells these for about 25.00 you may as well buy cabin air filters while your at it . 1 of the screws will be a pain to install back into the duct work I left mine out didn,t make a difference . you might have to order it as they are a comman item oh you will need a vacuum to clean up mess from cabin air filters .this is not a hard job .

check the connection to constant (usually yellow wire). Also check the remote wire (usually red) make sure they are both hooked up to where they need to be
