SOURCE: o2 Sensor replacement

On Honda Accord the O2 sensor is located either on the exhaust manifold near to the front or side of the manifold, or in the manifold rear side, depending if it is a four or six cylinders model.

To give an idea of the job, check this website showing the procedure on a different car:

To find step by step for your car, I suggest buying the Haynes manual.

To order the part you can use the website below, or buy it at a local car parts shop.

SOURCE: Where is the O2 sensor located on 2000 Honda

There is one before the catalytic converter and one after it. The one before is on the manifold (header) collector and the second one is at the catalytic converter exit.

i hope this helps

SOURCE: how to install oxygen sensors on 2000 Honda

The easiest way is to purchase the direct fit O2 sensors as you don't have to mess with splicing in a new connector. You will need a special O2 socket, and ratchet or a suitable wrench.
First locate the sensor(s), find the exhaust manifold, there should be one there, then follow it back, and you will see the other(s).
Disconnect the connector, then remove the O2 sensor with the socket or wrench. You may need to spray some WD40 or other similar lubricant if it doesn't want to come off.
Just do the opposite to install.

Code P1139 popped up in my 2000 Honda Accord. Changed the 02 Censor and spark plugs. Check engine light still flashes and is miss firing somewhere. Won't turn over at all.

the code refers to the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) and not the O2 sensor which is a different sensor
It is a generic code and refers ti injector and fuel problems
The misfiring can be from injectors as well as plugs so check for fuel pressure and blocked fuel filter

I have a 2000 Honda Accord- just hit 100,000. I know I should change the timing belt but I don't drive real far and can't afford it. What other things really MUST be done at 100,000?

IF YOU ARE SURE YOUR CAR HAS A TIMING BELT, IT SHOULD BE CHANGED ABOUT EVERY 60,000 OR 70,000 MILES IF YOU WAIT 'TIL IT BREAKS YOU WILL BE SORRY. IT COULD CAUSE MAJOR ENGINE DAMAGE, & MAJOR EXPENSES. GET THE BELT CHANGED

You can buy an aftermarket sensor.Sometimes the sensor threads seize into the pipe or manifold, making it difficult to change. Many cars require a special socket to remove/install the sensor,so you may want to consider a repair shop for this one.

This most likley means your fuel level sensor has failed. You can check the resistance on the sensor to see if it changes while fuel is added, if not replace sensor. Thanks
