SOURCE: Where & how to install thermostat in honda accord ex 1992

you need to follow the upper hose that lead from the radiator to the engine, there is two bolt that connect the thermostat housing to the block loosen the bolt using a 10 mm socket with ra-chet. Make sure that the engine is cool off before attempt to do this you will lose coolant but that's ok you will add the coolant when you finish replacing the thermostat. start the engine with the radiator cap off then add coolant slowly and cap it, then fill the reservoir up.

note the way you remove the thermostat that's the same way you will put the new one so pay attention when you remove the old one good luck.

SOURCE: anti theft light blinking on stock radio in 92 honda accord

You must go through your local honda dealer, (usually parts department) give them the numbers off the labels on the radio, along with the VIN number of the car. may have to prove ownership. They can call Honda and get that information for you. Process is alot easier if you someone that works in the parts department, if not the honda parts department, then another parts department at another car dealer.

SOURCE: Where & how to install thermostat in honda accord 1992

found this on a forum:

The thermostat in a 1992 HONDA accord is in the housing where the lower coolant hose meets the engine block. You may have to move the air intake hose to get access. The housing is on the passenger side top rear of the engine, behind the valve cover. I have an F22A1 motor in my car, yours may be different, but I doubt it. Hope this helps.

How much R-12 Freon does a 1990 honda accord require?

charging an ac system by the can is a sure fire way of stuffing it up and blowing hoses
gas is entered by pressure and you need the correct manifold and gauges to get it right
now that you have some in it , take it to an accredited specialist shop and have it topped up properly
