SOURCE: no power from battery

Was it ok when you parked it? all gauges normal? Did you check the main power to the solonoid? Check the power with a meter so you know you have proper voltage. Turn on the key and start tugging gently on the power cables. It sounds like a bad connection and you need look for green monsters (corrosion) on the connections.

SOURCE: Brake light bulb Issue

A bad socket is a common enough problem that it is likely that, rather than a wiring problem. Just splice in a new socket, if you can, or whatever is easier and cheaper (like a tail light assembly from a salvage yard).
Of course if you have a voltmeter or testlight, you can check at the socket electrical connector for power when it should be there-when the brake is pressed.

SOURCE: I have a 2001 chevy suburban that has no power to the pressure switch for the a/c. i've checked fuses and relays nothing. I also tried a different control head also. thanks

this control is controlled by the computer. make sure your a/c relay is good along with fuses. check the high pressure switch connection on back of compressor it may need to be put on a tech 2

sometimes these are on a circuit breaker check with a test light for power in the center of your socket then be sure to check the ground if no ground or power always go back to source this circuit may even have a relay

THE TURN LIGHT RIGHT BACK NOT WORK

If one tail light works, it's not the fuse box. It's either a ground wire off on that side , or a wire chafed along the curcuit. Your fuse for parking lights is for all four. If you have three, it's definately not the fuse box. You did not say what type of vehicle you have or I could have told you the best places to look for a ground wire. And I'd like to know if signal, brake, and reverse lights on that same side work at all. Let me know what your car is and we'll go from there. Please rate this solution thanks

I have a 96 Cavalier and my passenger side low beam does not turn on (high beams OK) & my horn doesn't work either. I've replaced the bulb with no luck. Any suggestions?

The light socket itself could be bad. If you turn on the lights and put a meter on it you can verify there is power at the socket. If not you still have to trouble shoot some more. No power at socket could be wiring that went bad or melted but you will have to remove the socket and test the wires themselves. No power at the wire bare ends you have to go back to the fuse distribution and check that. Low voltage sucks for this very reason. good luck.

Sebring aux power and cigarette do not have power

Have you checked sockets for power with test light? Are the sockets the problem or could it be the device you are trying to plug in?

I have a 2000 GMC P/U and the dealership gave me a 1999 manual. the fuse block is different. Which fuse contols the driver's side turn signals

None, check your light bulb socket and voltage if you have a 12v probe.
Turn your 4 ways on and see what's flashing.
Probes are cheap and a great thing to have.
Probe the socket and see if you have power.
You don't say if it's the front or rear, that would help.
Also it could be your turn signal switch or light sockets.

Why both turn signals don't work

For the defroster:

Turn the defroster on and check for 12v at the connector on the window. If you have 12v, check for breaks in the element (the thin lines running across the window). If you do not have 12v and the fuse is good, the culprit will most likely either be the switch or the wiring.

For the right park light:

Check the bulb socket. You should have 12v at one terminal (with the park lights on) and ground at the other. If the voltage and ground are ok, you either have a bad bulb or possibly a bad socket. By bad socket I mean they can sometimes distort and not allow the terminals to make good enough contact.

Hope this was helpful.

I have a 2001 E320, the problem is my left brake light doesn't work. I've change the bulb, switch the sockets( right to left). I was wondering if this a connection or fuse problem, if so where is...

Hello
You can't just swap around parts, you must perform actual electrical testing of the brake light circuit to do this use a Digital volt ohm meter (DVOM) to check and see if you have 12 volts at the socket when the brake is pressed, if you do show 12 volts then you need to check the ground wire connection, use an ohm meter and check the ground wire to the socket, should read less than 3 ohms from the ground to the chassis sheet metal, clean and repair as needed to restore ground if a problem is found. Brake lights can be on different fuses, one for left and one for right, check the owners manual for location of the brake light fuses, test them with an OHM meter, they can look ok and be open.
