If the only code you have is a P0113 then the answer to your question is no it can not be the oxygen sensor. P0113 indicates that the IAT sensor is reading at -46 deg F. With the computer thinking it is that cold it will need lots of fuel, cold air is more dense and com-pack so more molecules of oxygen and therefore needs more fuel to keep correct air/fuel ratio.
Do you have a way to measure voltage across the sensor?
You should have about 5V coming into the sensor and around 1.5 to 3.0V(depending on the temp) leaving it.

SOURCE: ETC Engine Failsafe mode
you sure are correct on that one,too many sensors, encrypted software and manufacturers pin layouts in the OBDII connector, that are copyrighted so no snap on code reader will work.IN OTHER WORDS DEALER ONLY .GOOD JOB I RETIRE SOON

The cam sensor and the cranksensor work together to keep the engine in time,so the cam sensor can`t be ruled out.But check the knock sensor,or better yet replace it,knock sensors sometimes will not set a code.If they are not working,or not pluged up,they will give those symptoms.

Very common problem is about a dime size hole wearing in the rubber elbow on the PCV valve located on the driver side rear of the intake manifold.
