I am sad middle aged woman in Cambridge UK whos old BMW just failed MOT for brake and fuel pipes corroded, parking brake efficiency below requirement, track rod end ball joint has excessive play, new exhaust needed, a back door quarter window needs replacing (have got scrapyard replacement) and electric side mirror needs replacing (also got one of there already). I desperatly need Haynes manual as lack of money means I have to try to fix myself but do not know if it is 1948 (red cover 1981 to 1991) or 1948 (green cover SOHC, petrol) manual that I need as others do not seem to apply. Mine car must have been end model and late registration!?!
Or is there somebody who can help or advise? Do you know retired man or apprentice who would be interested in work?
