Remove the spark plugs. No more engine compression so the wheels will turn more easily.

Is there a way to disengage the power window motor on my 95 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo so I can roll it up? Or is there anyway to get it up and stay if the source of the problem is the window motor?

This is a long shot, but it does sometimes work. Try holding the window up button with the key on and slam the door at the same time. If it is the motor, this will sometimes shake the motor brushes loose and make contact with the armature. If it does work, know that you will need to replace the motor soon or it will die again. If it doesn't work, make sure the switch is working properly. Or take the door panel off and see if the problem is the regulator itself.

I HAVE A 1995 M B 500 SL THE SWITCH INDICATOR FOR THE TOP & ROLL BAR STAY IN A BLINKING POSITION. THE TOP, POWER WINDOWS AND ROLL BAR WILL NOT FUNCTION AT ALL... THANK YOU

The control module has set a fault and it will have to be reset. They are sensitive to voltage & must have 12 volts to operate properly.
The windows and top will need to be resync. I cannot find any information regarding the diagnostic procedure for the roof .. it states there is a procedure to diagnose the fault with the number of flashes the switch makes .. a dealer may be your best option on this fault .. I hope this helps some.

Case locked into 4lo and had to remove shift motor to disengage now i can not get the shift motor to go back on because the shaft will not line up with the motor

With the shift motor out turn your key to run position, then turn your four wheel drive knob or button to setting that you placed the transfer case in, the motor then should be where you need it.

The rear passenger side window recently stopped working. i used the key to roll down all windows and all worked properly. i then rolled them all back up using the key and they all went up smoothly and at...

FIRST YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE REAR PASSENGER INTERIOR DOOR COVER TO GET TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. ONCE REMOVED LOOK TO SEE IF THE WIRE IS STILL CONNECTED TO THE MOTOR. IF IT IS, DISCONNECT THE WIRE. ***IF YOU HAVE A MULTIMETER(OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES) WITH THE IGNITION SET TO AUX, OR ON IT DOESNT MATER, TEST THE POWER COMING FROM THE WIRE. IF IT READS 9.5-12+V, THE POWER IS GETTING TO THE WINDOW MOTOR AND STOPPING, YOU NEED A NEW MOTOR. IF THERE IS NO POWER COMING FROM THE WIRE, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO A SHOP. IT IS NOT A FUSE SINCE ALL THE WINDOWS RUN OFF THE SAME FUSE AND RELAY.

**IF NO MULTIMETER IS AVALIBLE, TAKE A 12V POWER SOURCE (CAR BATTERY) AND RUN THE POWER DIRECTLY FROM THE BATTERY TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. IF THE MOTOR RUNS, BAD WIREING. IF THE MOTOR DOES NOT RUN, BAD MOTOR.

How do i remove the driver's inside panel door? My electric button panel for windows and locks isn't moving.

Like reference guide, check this procedure to Removal & Installation / Door Lock Motor...

The door lock motor is integral with the door latch. If the door lock motor is found to be defective, the entire door latch must be replaced.
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Roll the door glass down.
  3. Disengage the 2 clips attaching the speaker grille to the door trim panel. (They are at the front of the grille, one near the top, and the other one at the bottom).
  4. Remove the 3 large washer-headed screws surrounding the speaker.

  5. Remove the access cover at the front of the door trim panel. Remove by prying at its rear edge.
  6. Remove the red courtesy reflector from the lower tail of door. Disengage by prying at the screwdriver notch at the bottom of the reflector.
  7. Remove the flag trim panel from the door by prying it off at the 2 attachment clip points.
  8. Remove the 7 screws attaching the door trim panel to door:
    1. One screw is located at the lower rear screw pocket.
    2. Three screws are located along the bottom of the door.
    3. One screw is located inside the handle opening.
    4. One screw is located at the upper front.
    5. One screw is in the pull cup.
  9. Disengage the 2 hidden clips attaching the rear of the trim panel; pry them off at the 2 attachment clip points.
  10. Lift the trim panel upward and away from the door, disengage the trim panel from the upper retainer channel.
  11. Disengage the clip attaching the latch linkage to back door handle.
  12. Disconnect the electrical connectors as necessary, including the lower foot light, if equipped.
  13. Remove the door trim panel from the door.
  14. Remove the water shield (water dam) from the inside of the door.

  15. Raise the door glass.
  16. Remove the bolt and nut for the rear glass run channel and position the channel aside.
  17. Disconnect the lock rod from the lock button bellcrank.
  18. Disengage the lock and latch rods from the clips on the inner door panel.
  19. Disconnect the lock and latch rods from the outside door handle and the key cylinder at the door latch.
  20. Disconnect the wire connector from the power door lock motor.
  21. Remove the screws attaching the door latch to the door end frame.
  22. Remove the door latch and the power door lock motor from the vehicle.

Running trailer lights not working, but brake

Did you check the fuse for the trailer tow adapter paring lamps ? This is a separate fuse powered by a relay, it is not the same circuit as the truck's parking lamps.
This is fuse # F10 & The half size ISO relay, R201 in the fuse panel in the passenger side kick panel.
This is based upon being a new body style 2004, not the 2004 Heritage or Lightning models, those are different fuse & relay locations.

Car is difficult to get into park and once in park, won't start and can roll as if in nuetral

sounds like a broken parking pin in the tranny, car wont start because it has to be in park or nuteral to start it, put it in nutrual i bet it wll fire right up, with that pin broke there is nothing to keep the car from rolling so even though it looks like park from the shifers point, there is nothing holding it from rolling

I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander with the TO factory option. I installed an aftermarket trailer hitch. Do I just need a trailer light pigtail (to connect to the connector in the rear) or must I also...

I believe the box also is a safety feature in case of a wiring problem from some event, like an accident.
You need a converter to convert the turn signals and brake lights to run off the one bulb on the trailer. A flat 4 pole connector is the usual connection. A 4 to 5 pole converter may also be needed to add the backup light power to disengage the surge brakes while backing up If your trailer has that option. 4 to 5 is not really necessary but it eliminates having to get out and move the connector or insert the brake bypass key.

Shiter

couple things apply brake when shifting out of non running vehicle or you should be able to with key still on the on position with engine not running apply brake shift down to nuetral then start vehicle up with applied brake shift into park

if this isnt working then inside key cylinder the k.c. pin that locks the column is broke or wore down you should be able to at least get the blazer into neutral to shift out back to park

under neith the blazer there is a saftey shift module that if this is worn it wont let you shift or you can shift with dead engine and no brake applied this might need to be replaced by tranny tech

the other way to unshift the shiter is have a buddy with you this is a little finness in what i say next
chock the wheels from rolling on a hill disengage the saftey brake now start pushing on the vehicle with engine off back and forth this disengages the 4x4 locked hubs gotta roll back a little but be sure not to let vehicle run over buddy

these are just a couple things off the top of my head that i can think of since im not actually there to see in person i hope this helped
