SOURCE: Jaguar xk8 air con light flashes then turns off but air con is on

this is most often caused by a slightly low charge of refridgerent, as the engine heats the system the gas expands and the light goes out.

2006 Hyundai Atos. Why does the Aircon keep blowing the fuse?

See if the inside fan operates by itself with the air con. That will show that the fan is OK. If this blows the fuse, you know the fan is faulty. If the fuse blows when the air con starts, it could be a dud compressor clutch or wiring fault. The front (clutch) of the compressor pulls in when its powered up to drive the compressor. When the AC is off, the clutch freewheels and does nothing. You will find a wire leading to the back of the clutch.
