Sounds like you have a typical case of loose fan/alternator belt or bad alternator.
If the belt is not tight enough with the engine idling the engine cant turn the belt fast enough on the alternators pulley, thus causing a low volts output from the charging terminal of the alternator, and this can cause all the funk you are describing. Put a test on the charging system, at least a 12volt DC digital hand held voltmeter across the battery terminals set it to 20 volts DC and let the car idle...if the voltage drops to 12.5 volts or less the belt may be loose or the alternator may be defective.
To check the alternator belt, shut off the engine and remove the key from the ignition to avoid an accident, try turning the alternator pulley if it turns by hand without turning the fan belt, its too loose, also if you can't reach the pulley, check the belt for too much slack, with it running and lights on etc. look at the belt as it turns(dont touch!!) does it appear to be jumping? this would indicate it is too loose, tighten it with proper ratchet and socket size, and pry 16" bar and try volt testing again, the meter charge rate should read 13.5-14.5 volts idling with all lights on etc., if not then the alternator is the culprit.
Never attempt changing any electrical part like an alternator, starter motor, etc without first disconnecting the battery the alternator should come off with the removal of two mounting bolts, one thru bolt may be 5/8" hex or its metric counterpart 15mm hex at the alternators base(sometimes refered to as the "pivot" bolt) approx. 6" long, one belt adjuster bolt, either 1/2" or 9/16" or its metric counterpart 13 or 14 mm, one electrical plug easy clip pull type, and the out put wire has one nut either 3/3" or 7/16 " hex or its metric counterpart of #10 mm.
Be sure to clean the battery terminals using a baking soda mix and be wearing your eye protective googles.
Reinstall using the reverse proceedures and walla, you are back in business.
You may have to charge the battery before putting the vehicle back into service, and me as a ruke, i generally don't keep a battery longer then 5 years old, but that is just my theory, I don't want to get stuck during a road trip or bad weather or both having a battery problem because they erupt without notice at times.

Misfiring. Error codes p0306, p0351, p0352


p0306 refers to cylinder 6 misfire detected===causes engine mechanical fault--wiring---ignition/fuel system--injector ---ECT/MAF sensor---ECM
IF there was a mechanical fault (hydraulic follower ) or valve it would be there most of the time and not just on start up. Possible injector fault but I would be inclined to check out the MAF sensor codes p0351 &2 refer to ignition coil A and ignition coil B primary /secondary--circuit malfunction === causes --wiring--ignition coil--ECM ( all causes for the both)
going on this check out the coils and check that the wiring and connections are clean and tight. basically I would be inclined to change out the coils and check /replace the MAF sensor.
change the engine --sounds like advice to get some extra money out of you.

Ford edge wont start codes ,p0351,p0352,p0354,p0316


You may need a mechanic for this one.
The first three codes are for coil problems on cylinders 1-2-4.
Code 316 is for a cylinder miss on startup which would follow along with the other codes.
Someone would need to test the coils and the circuits that power them.
It is unlikely all three have failed, but rather something with the computer or the crank or cam sensors.

I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee and it giving me four code p1391 p0351 p0352 p0353 i will like to know the problem please


For some reason you question has been duplicated several times, so I will answer this one.
Code 1391 may be a problem with the ABS system, the other three codes are concerning the first 3 coils. Your engine has direct spark so each cylinder has its own coil.
I would clear the codes and see which ones come back after a test drive. If the three coil codes come back the coils would need to be tested.

2004 Taurus DOHC; All COPs and spark plugs have been replaced. Intermittent problem (car may run great for weeks at a time) Then engine runs very poorly, and these codes come up: P0351, P0352,...


codes p0350-p0360 are all coil primary/secondary failure codes. could possibly be the pcm its self if you have already replaced all 6 coils and plugs. there have also been cases i have seen where a remote start system is the cause, if one is installed check the wiring where they tie into the ignition system

This thread basically says replace the crank position sensor and the cam position sensor. Check the wiring for the Oxy sensor(s). And if all else fails then change the PCM.

Engine codes P0354 P0351 engine skips low power


These codes are for a malfunctioning ignition coil/s.
P0351= ignition coil A primary/secondary circuit malfunction.
P0354= ignition coil D primary/secondary circuit malfunction.
visually check the coil packs for burn marks, damage, loose wire connectors, and the wire harness to each of the coils for damage. How long has this been happening? Has any work been done recently? Did the engine compartment recently get wet?

I am change out a direct ingnition coil, which is the c coil?


"C" stands for cylinder #3. Facing the engine from the front of the car, the cylinders go A, B, C, D left to right (i.e., A closest to passenger side). To test you coil, change it with another. Codes are specific to each cylinder. A = P0351, B = P0352, C = P0353, and D = P0354.
