In most cases the noise is the bearing for the ac compressor clutch. Once the clutch bearing fails, the serpentine belt will be lost.

you did damage to the wheel bearing i bet it sounds like a airplane sound. also if you steering wheel is off 7"then have front end aligned because this will destroy the tires and they will make noise.

sounds like you have a bad a/c compressor if it is locks up on you you can end up loosing the belt better get it checked out before it leaves you stranded.

I recently experienced the same symptom with my '05 Murano and it was not a fuel problem. The dealer listed the cause as dry axle splines and replaced both front drive shaft assy's. Note that this was done as warranty with no cost incurred by me.

SOURCE: Engine rattling
It sounds to me like you have a broken serpentine belt and the noise is coming from it rubbing on the crank.Shut the car off and look again and if i'm right you need to pull it out and then get the new belt install asap.If you do have to drive the car just remember that without a belt the car will not recharge the battery and it will over heat quickly so just take it far enough to park it in a safe place.
