Question about 1990 Nissan Sentra
I'm trying to wire a cigarette lighter up to run my gps. I tried going through the connector/cluster that is for the radio (I believe) There wasn't a radio in the car when I bought it. I hooked up the red and black wires out of the connector of about 12 wires and it works fine, on and off with the ignition, until I turn on the headlights then the lighter loses power. I figure it should be a different wire but which?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

do you change the engine oil your car crosses the maximum miles with the old engine oil once your engine oil density become very low you will get the black smoke (or) you need to check the radiator water wether water and coolant is in correct level or not if it is in correct level you need to change the oil

Dont worry about the colors.
Just be sure of the position of the connections. The wires pulled off the light go right back on the light in the same position they came off.

First check the fuses. There may be one for trailer running lights. Check also power at the harness. If the brake lights and turn signals are seperate, there has to be a converter from 5 to 4 wire. For the power to feed back to the brake lights it sounds like the vehicle wiring is direct and not using a converter... or one of the bulbs on the trailer is contacting both contacts. Try http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx and maybe get a simple 4 pin tester that plugs into the 4 pin connecter. Hope this helps.
