Driving down the road my car began to hesitate and sputter like it was running out of gas. I lost power and was left stranded. The car won't start. And it does have gas, I didn't run out.
You may have to replace the fuel filter, the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump.
First I would check the fuel pressure and also check for leaks. If there are no leaks and the pressure is fine than your fuel injectors are probably clogged or you may have an ignition problem or even a compression problem.
If you don't have good pressure and there are no leaks I would first replace the fuel filter or the fuel pressure regulator. If problem still exists I would then check and replace the fuel pump.
If you need any help in any one of these procedures just post it and I will give you step by step instructions.
