SOURCE: Where is the fuel pressure regulator on a 2003 oldsmobile alero?

There are 2 fuel lines connecting to the fuel injector rail. The larger line is the pressure line and the smaller line is the return line. The smaller line attaches to the fuel pressure regulator. You will notice that the regulator also has a vacuum line attached to it. If you are planning on changing it your self, let me know. There is a specific way to change it for safety reasons.
Let me know.
Regards,

SOURCE: fuel pump 2002 oldsmobile alero

In order to replace the fuel pump u must remove the gas tank, the fuel pump is located inside the tank. U are going to need to get the car at least 3 feet in the air, u will need a good 2 1/2 ton hydraulic floor jack, 4 good safety stands and common hand tools, also a brass drift to release fuel pump module retainner ring on top of tank, don't use steel one spark and u are up in smoke.

Is there a drain valve for a 2001 Olds Alero gas tank?

No however, you can unplug the fuel line from the injector rail and apply 12v power to the fuel pump diagnosis wire located on the drivers side fender and that will allow you to pump it out through the fuel line.

Hi...sounds like your EGR Valve might be plugged or your fuel pump could be going bad. Have someone check your computer codes to see what it's showing...AutoZone will check for free.

Here is the location of your EGR Valve: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/2001-Oldsmobile-Alero/EGR-Valve/_/N-jfkvmZ9ixue

Leaking gas on top of motor not sure what the part is

check for leak at fuel fittings on injector rail, faulty fuel pressure regulator (small round canister type valve on end of fuel rail, has vacuum line attached to top) leaking o-rings on injectors.
