Question about 1999 Ford Explorer
While driving my engine cuts out for a second then goes again
If it does this only when the engine is at operating temperature it may be vapor lock. Your gasoline becomes hot and becomes vapor and the fuel injectors don't meter vapor. Check your fuel pump pressure, if is low it doesn't get a chance to circulate back to the gas tank like it should. I hope this aims you into the right direction.
