we unpluged the cam senor and it still did it the engine light code is bank 1 & 2 cat converter.we also put a new crank sensor in and it still does it. I already check at autozone and they don't know what it is .

you say you unplugged the camshaft sensor and it did the same thing.. but didn't cause the vehicle to idle very rough? or stall out completely when it was disconnected.. if it didn't do anything at all when you disconnected it.. that tells me its not functioning properly

It could be an 02 censor.. fuel filter.. camshaft sensor.. it's really hard to tell..you can take it to autozone and they can check it for you for free. please rate my answer if it was useful thank you

2007 chevy 2500 died while driving down the road. Lights/radio still work

The battery light was on because the engine stopped running. The alternator was not charging the battery.
On a model that new, if the engine did overheat the computer could kill it. A stuck thermostat comes to mind. But your temp gauge should have been on the hot side.
Its also possible something locked up and is preventing the engine from cranking, such as the water pump or alternator. You may need to remove the belt to verify. If the belt is slipping it would not power the water pump to keep the engine cool.

98/88 delta oldsmoble cuts off while driving what could it be

The warning lights on the dash will come on when the engine dies.
If it dies and starts up like you turned the key it could be a relay or other electrical problem. May be tough to find if you can't test components while it is not starting.
I assume the check engine light is not on when the engine is running.

My 2003 Ford Focus dies when idling after a little road trip.

have the check engine light checked at a parts store its usuall free. I would bet its the idle air control motor. This controls the fuel air mixture at idle

1986 Alfa 90. 2.5V6. Engine cuts out while driving.

Possible worn spark plugs causing unduly high Voltage which cuts ECU to protect it from arcing feedback. This problem generally produced during acceleration. Car usually re-starts almost immediately. Replace plugs - clean leads should be a fix if these are the symtoms

Engine stalls while driving. Fuel deprivation?

I am having the exact same problem with my VW Touareg @60,000 miles. Two weeks ago and again today it sputters and stalls shortly after starting. I brought it into the shop and they could not reproduce the problem and said it was fine. Also, they had no ideas when I describes the problem. Anyone know what it going on? I am out of warranty.
