How long does it take to take the transmission apart. Not fixed just take it apart. I had a nissan maxima 2004 5 speed taken the transmission apart and they shop wanted to charge me $800. Is this right...

It shouldn't take more than a couple of hours, 3 or 4 at the most, to disassemble the transmission. Sounds a bit expensive for just taking it apart. I would check some other places.

I have a 2001 Kia Sirento and a small piece of the key broke inside the ignition key and i can't get it to move or start..How do you take out the ignition apart?

This area does not come apart without a key, even so, not very apart. Usually, you replace the whole thing...easier, but might need a locksmith to get the old one out, without a key..

My daughter stuck a quarter in the cd player. How do we open it up so we can remove it?

You can try using a slim mini ruler or something else which is very slim and try to slide it out.It should be wooden so that you do not scratch the cd reader "eye".If it is a factory cd you may have to take apart the dashboard and take apart the player. If it is an aftermarket cd,you will probably need to take it apart. It will come out much easier than a factory cd.If you aren't confident about taking it apart, try the slim thing at least. If it doesn't work,I would take it to a pro.

Hatch problem

Something has probably fallen apart inside. You'll have to take it apart from inside, and see what the problem is. Usually something pretty simple. Once you get it apart, you'll be able to open it by turning the little rod, or bar, with a pair of pliers, or stick a flat screwdrivewr in the hole and turn it.
