Question about 2005 Nissan Xterra
When I start my 05 Xterra i hear a loud clicking sound for about 8-10 seconds from behind glove box, actually all I gotta do is turn on battery and I hear clicking.. When I remove a/c fuse it stops, but I cant use my a/c. Is it a relay? If so how do i fix it? Any ideas how much if I bring it to mechanic?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

You need to check and see if the fan in front of the rad. is working. If it is not then you need to fix it. If its not working then your AC is not cooling off and wasting all your freon.

SOURCE: 2006 nissan xterra keeps dying
If it dies while driving it may be a a crank sensor. If it dies when you take your foot off the gas cruising it most likely an Idle Air Control valve. Either way this should still be under warenty if it is the computer. All emission related parts are covered for 4 years. This includes the computers
