Question about 2003 Land Rover Discovery
Ran amazing when i bought it yesterday. the dealer said he washed the motor and now it wont idle and is running super rough... please any advise????
Dealer washed it, he should fix it. They don't like that 'cos they have to pay the mechanic.. BUT.. Basically there is water somewhere it shouldn't be. First thing I would do is remove the distributer cap, check inside for any sign of dampness or droplets. Wipe it out thoroughly with tissue or soft cloth. Secondly I would find a source of high pressure air, (perhaps dealer will help here) and blow out all visible wire connections and connection blocks, especially around the ignition coil, then spray all of them lightly with WD40. Allow WD40 to dry before restarting. Open up the air filter box and make sure it's not full of water. This is very basic stuff, and it's all can tell you right now, as I'm not a mechanic. Hope it helps.
