Unable to fill gas tank

I have had this same problem before, and it was solved when my live in, admitted dropping a rather large diameter lipstick just after removing the gas cap. She couldn't find the dropped stick, and assumed it had rolled out of sight, because what are the odds of it just hitting the open hole, let alone going on in? lol

If your fill spout does not have an obstruction, I would suggest you try not pushing the gas nozzle all the way down into the filler neck? You can hang theend of the nozzle from the last 2 or 3 wire rings around the nozzles exterior, with out it falling, but don't leave it unattended.

If this does not help, then I'm at a loss, except for the vent line which allows the gas tank to breath, and it is located about 8" down the filler neck, where it tees off to travel a little ways into a reclamation canister. But if it were clogged, I don't think your engine wouldn't run very long, at least not very smoothly. Another symptom would be it slowing down, and stalling or missing, until it would finally quit after a few miles because the vacuum or vapor lock. After a few minutes, it could then start back up and seem to run fine (for a little while) but after a few miles it would repeat the cycle, over and over. Hope this helps.

These symptoms are also caused by a clogged fuel filter located just under the inlet fitting, that is screwed into the carburator body. Even though you may be able to hold the filter or screen up in the sun light and see light trough it, it can still be clogged. They don't cost more than $5.00 so I would just replace it, from the start, and eliminate that possibility. This filter has proven the culprit, and more than 2 occasions. Hope this helps.

You don't start a job like that, without factory manuals
or buying a timing chain & belt manual

We don't have anything to give you

We found & use the site the same as you, from home,

Lincoln ls missing power loss

You either have a really bad COP Ignition Coil,
or you have several failed at one time.

If you have a professional scan tool or software used, in
Generic Mode $06, you will see the individual cylinder
misfire counts. Then you can replace just the bad guys

If your front two O2 Sensors have 100,000 miles on them,
replace those two. Unrelated, but you will notice the instant
throttle response, once you get rid of the misfires

Also need the correct spark plugs, not fancy ones with several
prongs, they don't work in that car

I suggest NGK Double Platinum ,the Single Platinum were the
OEM made by NGK

Don't be supprised if the Battery goes dead & causes those issues
also. Have to go to a Dealer for that, because of the vent out of the
trunk. (BXT-66-750) $109.95 ,no discount, even to a business,
just got one last week

Give me the codes you have & if you have the ETC Failsafe lite
Does the MIL Lamp stay on or flash? If it flashes don't use the car
you will ruin the converter

I have an 08 sierra, when i step on the gas kinda hard it boggs down and starts popping like a back fire any ideas?

I'd recommend getting the evap. valve replaced, even if it doesn't directly relate to your current issue. Ask them (the dealer) if it falls under any emission warranty. I think taking a fuel sample and checking for water is a good idea. How many miles are on your truck?

When my son closed the front passenger side door, the window fell down inside the door and we cannot get it back up. Is this the window regulator? Is it something we can fix ourselves?

Window regulator or cable, depending on what you have

You remove the inner door panel to gain access to what
broke

Wether you can fix it, depends on your own skills

Not fun ,but I would never recommend anyone but you
doing it

Not the job repair shops like & in most cases only put
broken parts back on & 4 days later it falls down again

Don't know why they have always done that, rather the just
fixing it the first time

Passenger window on 2001 ford focus has dropped off track, how do i fix this

Remove the door panel anytime you have
window issues & they fall down or make a
noise & don't move

When you get access to the inner door panel,
you will see the problem

Not off any track, the regulator broke

Code p0340 will it cause the car not to crank if not what's the problem

This indicates that a problem was detected in the camshaft position sensor circuit. Since it says circuit, that means the problem could lie in any part of the circuit - the sensor itself, the wiring, or the PCM. Don't just replace the CPS (camshaft position sensor) and think that will definitely fix it.

Symptoms can include:
  • Hard starting or no start
  • Rough running / misfiring
  • Loss of engine power

With a P0340 OBD-II trouble code, diagnosis can be tricky at times. Here are some things to try:
  • Visually inspect all the wiring and connectors in the circuit
  • Check for continuity in the circuit wiring
  • Check the operation (voltage) of the camshaft position sensor
  • Replace the camshaft position sensor as required
  • Check the crankshaft position circuit as well
  • Replace circuit wiring and/or connectors as required
  • Diagnose/replace the PCM as required
