Locationof A/C dryer strainer 2003 odyssey

It's not called a dryer strainer. It's called a receiver dryer. It's located in front of engine compartment usually right next to the condenser

Need an air conditioning diagram of 1997 Chevy Lumina for location of orfice tube placement.

If you look at the low pressure side line going from the dryer to the condenser you will find a crimped place and it is probably down by the condenser and that is where the orifice tube is.

Where is the A/C orifice tube located on a 99 Gmc Sierra c2500 4wd 5.7 vortec?

It is always the line between the condenser and the air dryer.

The clutch on the a/c compressor is shot. I was going to replace the compressor. Do I need to also change the accumulator/receiver dryer, and or the condenser too? It is a 1996 Ford Explorer, Eddy...

You need to change the dryer and orfice tube. You should also flush the evaporator, lines and condenser with an approved ac flush. Add the proper amount of refrigerant oil to the system and pull a vacuum and charge it.

New comperssor, condenser, rec. dryer and high pressure line now power to the ac compressor. Jump the compressor and it works.

Check for update/defective-part on A/C relay(located in engine fuse/relay box), original was white, new one is baby-blue from dealer.

A/C Condenser leak. I'm told that my condenser has a leak. This is the third time the A/C has failed. How hard is it to replace the condenser?

The condencer is not hard to replace, but you need special tools and training to do this job, it is very easy to suffer serious personal injury.
Issues are OILING, and the receiver/dryer. Oiling requires accurate measurement of oil in each of these components, and calculation of levels and adjustment. The receiver/dryer is replaced anytime that you open the system.
Then, you need to evacuate the system (essentially $1,000 piece of equipment) to remove ambient moisture, and leak test, then recharge. This is just NOT a do it yourself job.

A/c stopped working. dealer says I need compressor and receiver dryer. what is receiver dryer

You go from the compressor to the condenser, next to the radiator ,then to the Drier.
It is supposed to remove moisture from the refrigerant,at least in theory, and also help with the change of state,in the expansion of the gases leaving the condenser. It may also collect trash, such as from your compressor failure,in which case they better flush the condenser.
There is NO way I would go to a dealer. You will be looking at $1500.00 or more. Go to a repair shop and get a quote first.

I need to change a/c condenser

I know you have to get a new dryer every time the unit is opened, so if it leaked out all the refrigerant, which it has, you will need to install the condenser, and dryer, then add the new refrigerant. Replacing the condenser should be fairly easy, remove the radiator, and the condenser should fall out with lines attached to it. I am not an AC expert, but I do know that much. Hope this helps.

Take the lamp out and let the moisture dry up either blow dryer or air dry.
