these models have an electrical servo motor that controls the blend door, the mode door, and the air mix door and when the gears get stripped out and wnat close or open all the way they start making this kind of noise.....i am pretty sure this is what your problem is but not to be there cant be 100% sure....this is a common problem on these can try to switch the temp control.the fresh recirculate switch, and the switch that controls where you want the air to come these one at a time and see if it changes and if so you can determine which one it is.....i hope that this will help you and if i can help in any other way let me know.....let me and fixya know also if i was any help to you at all and a thumbs up and a comment would be appreciated......thanks and good luck......have a blessed day......

I'm just guessing since I don't have it here to look at. Your exhaust hanger in the middle part of the car is broken and needs replacing. It's two red rectangular rubber hangers secured by it's own sub-frame located after the catalytic converter.

It's a little motor that i believe opens and shuts a damper to do with the climate control, a quick fix is just adjusting the cabin temp up a few notches.

My 2006 VW Jetta is making loud, screaming/screeching, sound from the passenger side-front, behind the the dash/glove box, between the engine and wheel.

I would like to think it is the electric fan behind the radiator that is screeching. When you stop the car, everything should stop, but that fan. That fan is supposed to cool the radiator, even after the engine is off and the car stops. It would not be so bad, because it does not run as much, in cold weather, but in hot weather, it should start sooner and run longer.
I needs to be replaced.
Be blessed.

I have a 2001 Chevy blazer it has a strange vibrating noise behide the gauges when the rpms go up does anyone know why? I also just had my intake manifold gasket replaced ( coolant leak) and the injectors...

from the information you provided, It doesn't sound like anything to do with the work you had done. If the noise sounds like it's coming from behind the dash, it may be a sticky speedometer cable, gets worse in colder weather? Or a loose screw in the dash itself. Check the ashtray for loose change rattling etc, that can get you sometimes ha ha Hope this helps

Does the noise sound as though it is coming from either the front or rear axle and does the noise change as your speed increases. If so it sound as though your axle is whining requiring overhauled if really bad.Common problem
