SOURCE: Changing idler pulley

you can change it by releasing tension on the pulley arm(as if changing the belt) and then unsecuring the idler arm pulley by means of a large bolt in the center of the pulley, usually reverse threaded. Pulleys cost about 10 bucks, but good bearings don't come cheap.

SOURCE: change idler pulley

It's a T-40 size, but I removed the bolt by first removing the bracket holding the pulley--I assume you're talking about the alternator idler pulley, the one right below the alternator. The bracket is held in place by three 14 mm bolts which I was able to reach from the top of the engine (after removing the black plastic air tube). I then put the bracket in a vise and "buzzed" off the 14 mm nut using an electric impact wrench ($30 +/- from Heartland of America). Be careful when putting the nut back on--the impact wrench will likely be too much torque!

SOURCE: 2006 Kia Sedona's check engine light

try not to fill up the tank while the car is running. maybe there is a bad seal on the gas cap now. i would simply reccomend taking it to the nearest advanced auto part, autozone, jiffy lube...anything of that matter and get them to read the code for you[they should do it for free]. Make sure to write it down, come back here and let me know what it said. its probably not a big deal

How to ajust belt that goes around alt. 2002 kia sedona

The idler pulley has a nut in the middle of it. You loosen that, then there is a tensioner bolt at about 4 o'clock, turning that will move the idler pulley away from the belt.

2006 kia sedona serpindine belt diagram routing

There should be a decal under the hood somewhere, or on the underside of the hood itself. If not, put it around the crankshaft pulley, then go flats to flats, ribs to ribs, and work your way around. There will be a couple of combinations, but you'll figure it out.

How do I change the unibelt on my 2002 Kia Sedona?

The tensioner pulley has a nut in the center of it that you loosen, then behind the pulley is a tensioner bolt that when you turn it, it moves the pulley away from the belt in a slot on the tensioner bracket.
