How do I open the fuel filler door on a 2004 Porsche Boxster S when the battery in the key fob is dead?

Open the passenger side door, there is a small round pull cable directly behind the fuel filler door. Pull it GENTLY, about a quarter of an inch- it will unlock the fuel door. Pull it too hard and it will break.

It can be fuse problem.Or it can be door latch problem. There should be a small pull tab inside trunk on the left side behind fuel door area.Pull this tab to open fuel door until the automatic open feature can be diagnosed and repaired.remove the material from the drivers side of the trunk around the area where the fuel door is located and you should find a method of manual release. A latch or possibly a pull cable.

Fuel filler door my Jaguar X (2002) will not unlock

Most cars have an emergency fuel filler door release somwhere in the trunk. Look for some kind of pull cord close to the area of the outside fill door.

To manually unlock, open the trunk/boot lid, pull back the carpeted panel directly behind the fuel door, look for the manual fuel door release cable. pull it to open.

Fuel door on my 1993 toyota camry won't open when I pull the leve

Get someone to help you. Have them pull up on the handle, whilst you pry open the door with a credit card, or something thin and plastic. Pull open the fuel door. Look to see if there is a bent piece of metal above the hinge. This is the "spring" that pops the fuel door open. If it is not there, it has broken, and needs to be replaced. About 3 dollars at a Toyota Dealer.

Fuel door won't open

ok check the sliding door on the side the fuel door is on. there is a safety mech. there the door needs to be closed all the way. if its not you can't open the fuel door. so slam that door then find out where and how it keeps the fuel door from opening. because if you open the door with the fuel door open it may damage fuel door

Fuel door release latch not working

Try Super Heavy Duty Lock Tight and attach it to the fuel door. Make small hole to feed the end of spring into then glue it down tight.

Fuel Door will not open

the cable from the lever to the door has broken. If you look inside the trunk, (sometimes you will have to pull the carpeted side down) right behind the gas door, you will find a short emergency release cable with a loop on the end - grab and pull the loop and your gas door should pop open.

Fuel door release latch not working

The small metal spring has broken on the hinged side of the fuel door. Easy to change, and costs very little from the dealership.
