Can my 1999 Cadillac Seville concourse overheat by mixing too much water with antifreeze??

Theoretically yes. Antifreeze has a higher heat capacity than water. Basically, a liter of antifreeze can hold more heat than a liter of water. I dont think it would be enough to cause an overheat though

Car suddenly stated suddering and struggles to gain power

What year is the car? What kind of car. Is it gasoline powered or diesel? Is the car carburated or fuel injected? There are many possibilities from a clogged catalytic converter to water in your gasoline. If you've just purchased gas then there's a good chance there was water in it. Go to your local auto parts store and purchase a fuel line antifreeze product. If this doesn't work open your hood and check around the engine compartment for any vacuum hoses that may have come loose or may have holes in them. Maybe a sparkplug wire came off? Some newer cars have a coilpack connected to the sparkplug wire and they tend to go bad making the car seem like the engine has a hesitiation problem or a miss to it at idle.

On my 89 Pathfinder,I changed my fuel filter an it turns over but still won't start. can i spay the carburator w/ carburator cleaner. will that help

If you smell fuel in your carburator I would check to see if you are getting spark to the plugs.

You can take starter fluid and spray into carburator and see if motor fires, if it does you may have a fuel pump problem.
Hope this helps you!

I have a 2002 ford taurus. I need to flush the cooling system and install new antifreeze. I took it to Jiffy Lube yesterday and they checked for a drain plug and said they could not find one. I also...

There is a drain valve. The plastic shield under the front completely hides it and removing the air dam shroud will expose the valve. It should be located on the driverside once the shroud is removed.

My 1983 bronco with a 302 is smoking out the dip stick vavles and distributor, also lost horse power and dont want to move very well, it still has oil pressuer and does not over heat, no oil mixture in...

Blow by comes from improper ventalation of the engine,or a broken compression ring or crack in a piston.Or a valve stuck open,or broken valve spring causing the ventalation to come up threw the engine crank case.Check for a broken valve spring, and hope the valve spring has not hit the piston.Rate if you would, and thank you.

How can you adjust the carburetor on a 1987 GMC safari van V-6

If the carburator has never been rebuilt, or the plugs that were installed at the factory have never been removed, you need to remove those plugs, there is one for each idle mixture screw, at the front of the base plate on the bottom of the carburator, 1 for the TPS adjustment on the driver side front of the carburator, and one for the mixture control solenoid on top of the carburator, in the middle, towards the front.

How to install 1988 chevy monte carlo rochester 4 barrel carburetor

You'll need to disconnect the fuel line at the front of the carburator. Disconnect the vacuum line at the back of the carburator going to the brake booster. Label and remove the vacuum hoses. Unplug the mixture control solenoid connector, the TPS connector and the connector to the automatic choke. Unbolt the 4 13mm bolts holding the carburator to the intake and remove the carburator.

My 1989 Mazda B2200 blows white smoke and has no power. Yes it is carburated

If your transmission has a vacuum modulator valve the diaphram may have ripped. This would cause trans fluid to be sucked into the vacuum system of the motor and shows up as white smoke and no power due to the vacuum system being filled with trans fluid.

I have a 91 s-10 P/U 2.8L It has a vaccum problem.

some vacumn lines only **** air when the antifreeze warms up,i would check either EGR valve or EGR sensor, then the fuel pressure regulator, but if you think its a vacumn issue, then spray carb cleaner around the throttle body and lines
