Question about Cars & Trucks
MAF ( Mass Air Flow) sensors are always in the air ducting for the Intake. You will see a largish tube leading into the top of the engine, coming from the front of the engine compartment. This tube will come out of the air cleaner housing. Follow this tube and you will see a small set of wires coming out of it. These wires will be connected to the MAF sensor. Many times, the MAF sensor is dirty and that will keep it from reading the air pressure correctly. Close to the sensor will be at least 1 clamp, usually 2 ( 1 upstream and 1 downstream). loosen these clamps and remove the MAF ( it's better to unplug it first).
Get some Electrical parts Cleaner ( your local Auto parts store will have some in stock) and soak down the little needle sticking into the air flow tube. Re-install and connect.Turn the key on and off 10 times to reset the computer, then start the car. If the light is still on, you may need to remove the sensor from the air flow tube to clean better. Get some cheap aluminum foil from the local dollar store. remove the sensor completely from the housing. Tear off a small piece of the foil. Spray the metal tip pf the sensor with that electrical spray and CAREFULLY scrub off the deposits from the sensor tip, making sure you do not bend that tip. Rinse with the spray again and re-install. Repeat above cycling procedure.
If it still doesn't work, you will need to replace.
Hope this helps and Thanks for using Fixya!!

check your sensors 1st,all sensors must be good
if all sensors are working good than check your engine firing sequence, some times happens when sequence was wrong,
check your exhaust and carborator tuning pin that creates the batter combination for firing in bore for batter performance & less emitions ,so check is it ok or not than go to your nearest service center that havad certified mechanics,

Your vehicle dose not have a maf sensor. They used a map sensor it is on the engine located under the front of the breater where it attaches to the engine.

most fuse boxes are located either on the pass. side dashboard (near the door or by the center console) also driver side under dash or by right leg. also check under the hood for a black plastic box. then take the cover off. it should be labeled.
