You replaced the throttle position sensor on the engine? From your paragraph it is hard to tell
! If you go to www.autozone.com and make a free account and put in your make and model of car you can access the service guides online for free. They have the wiring diagrams.

Stop Lamps
The 15A BRAKE fuse located in the fuse block - underhood, supplies battery positive voltage to the normally open stop lamp switch. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the switch contacts close and battery positive voltage is supplied to both left and right stop lamp assemblies, the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL), the powertrain control module (PCM), and the throttle actuator control (TAC) module. The stop lamps are grounded at G401 and G403. The CHMSL is grounded at G301.

Po 122 problem light on had changed sensor problem not fixed trans not shifting right horrible jurks when it shifts.

P0122 is TPS signal low, which could mean you have a bad TPS, or a fault in the wiring or connector. I suspect a bad Throttle Position Sensor.

08 jeeps ETC not working and light keeps flashing

On my Lincoln LS that is always bad cop ignition coils

On yours i don't know the system or have diagnostic manuals
or wiring diagrams

I can tell you the APP (gas pedals) don't fail & the TPS Sensor
would have to be completey gone to loose both sides

On mine the coils spike the pcm & then come back on tps
& thus loosing that signal & you go into ETC Failsafe

Electronic throttle control light flashing

Depends on the vehicle & make

Could be the gas pedal (APP) if you go to a wiring diagram

General Description could be the throttle body

There is no guessing here

You need to check for codes & have trouble charts
to follow to resolve any problems

You can not fix yourself,a dealer or repair shop will be needed

Gas pedal linkage

Don't need a diagram.
Start by checking to see that ur cable hasn't come off the throttle body or that the clip in the floor behind the gas pedal is still there.
If it's broken, remove the clip on the floor and remove from the throttle body. Disconnect the cable from the pedal and pull it out from the inside of the car.
